About Us

SpectraMD is a professional services firm that helps hospitals and physician practices facilitate the meaningful adoption of electronic medical records. We provide advice on the selection, training, and management of EMR systems to providers and hospitals based on best practices developed by our team.

Founded by Raj Lakhanpal, MD, SpectraMD was formed in response to the urgent need of hospitals and physicians to understand and implement electronic health records. Given the substantial incentives that the Federal government is providing hospitals and healthcare providers to implement EMR systems, SpectraMD provides a suite of services that optimize a practice’s transition to an EMR system.

SpectraMD's team draws upon decades of experience as healthcare practitioners, innovators of information systems and thought leaders in healthcare data analytics and disease management programs. We understand the concerns of hospitals and providers in implementing Electronic Medical Records.  Our best-practice methodologies and patented software applications help healthcare providers select and effectively manage EMR systems.
