Graphics Designer (User Interface)

We are looking to expand our team with a Graphics Designer (User Interface).

The graphics user interface designer will be responsible for:

• Developing high level and detailed storyboards, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Designing user interfaces for transactional Web and desktop applications with a focus on usability.
• Collaborating with Product Management and Business Analysts to understand application and end-user requirements.
• Refining and validating designs through usability studies and direct interaction with user communities.
• Creating design specifications for implementation and quality assurance.
• Maintaining company brand and imagery, establish and maintain design principles
• Maintaining awareness of competitive product interfaces.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Web and/or Windows user interface/interaction design.

Bachelor's Degree in Art, Graphics, Design or related field of study.

Outstanding portfolio of detailed user interface designs, wireframes, prototypes, interaction flows, site maps, navigation systems and specifications.

Proven track record as information architect skilled in development, delivery and documentation of high-quality transactional user interface designs.

Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Visio. Experience in Flash is a plus.

Proficiency in  HTML, DHTML and JavaScript.

Experience working in the healthcare field would be an asset.
